Search for “free internet business” in Google and you get 348,000,000 results. A search for “free internet marketing” will give you 109,000,000 results.
Do yourself a favor and start visiting these sites on the search results pages. Note if any of them really have free internet business programs, courses or information – or do they just want to sell a product of their own or of an affiliate.
Now let’s ask the question: “Is it possible to have a free Internet Business?”
First let me define “Free Internet Business” the way I see it. Would you agree that it means an internet business that does not cost anything – a business that you can start which will not cost you a dime? If that is the case I will say the answer is a definitely – “NO!”
However, I believe it is possible to start an Internet Business that will not cost you much more than a computer, an internet connection, some software, the knowledge how to, the want to and determination.
The next question that most probably will be asked is: “Is it possible to make money quick with an Internet Business?” or “Is it possible to get rich quick with an Internet Business?”
All over on the web you will find promises of getting rich within days, weeks or months. Is it possible? My answer: Only if you are an experienced internet marketer, prepared to take the risk and put some money on the table. If you are thinking of getting rich without laying out money – forget it.
For the man of the street, who knows nothing about internet marketing, it is best to let any idea of getting rich quick vanish!
If you want to start a “free” (not laying out money) internet business, understand it will take time and effort to make money – but it is possible. It takes time to learn the how to, the do’s and don’ts, build your site and get traffic.
Where to start?
The big hype about internet marketing is to get a niche, use the right keywords and to generate traffic. Before you even start concentrating on these issues, I would say, first get clarity about what you want to do.
Undoubtedly the best way to start is with a Blog. A Blog gets indexed by Google within a day – and that is what you need. With a Blog, amongst the other need to’s, you must post on a regular basis to attract readers. For this reason I feel you need to find a topic, subject, market, niche, rave – whatever you can call it, that you are comfortable to write (post) about.
You must start at finding an “about” for your Blog. Once you have that sorted out, you need to take the next step – create your Blog! And then the next step, one at a time – slowly increasing your speed until you are running like mad!
